Reconsider to give rewards
Always giving rewards to the kids can be bad things. Children can become dependent on these rewards, and do something new if given a reward. You need to provide an understanding of the importance of a sense of satisfaction and happy when doing positive things. Make children feel that by doing something good, then they and others will get benefit, too.
Discussion
Talk and discuss one on one with children can build their intrinsic motivation. Children are basically full of curiosity. So take them to discuss, ask how they feel when doing something new or new things that they are going to do and listen to all the things they are talking about. The form of attention that children get from their parents could make them more confident and eager to do the activity.
Do not always demanding perfection
Receive all the weaknesses and strengths of children. You also need to give children the freedom to do what they love and believe in. It does not matter if later on they made a mistake because of the mistakes they can learn.

Motivating children to love reading but the parents never touched the book at all!!! Well, children can be very difficult to meet the expectations of the parents. Make yourself to be a role model and an example for your children.
