Swim Safety For Kids, Follow This Tips

Hallo Female - One of the fun family activities on the weekends is swimming. However, many parents are still often worry about letting their kids have fun while swimming. The reason is, because they are still still too small and the fear of drowning.

"We believe, with introducing children to swim as early as possible, they will not be frightened when they fall into the water. With proper exercise, gradually the kids will understand how to prevent and save themselves when drowning," said Paul Thompson of Water Babies.

As a parent, it is your obligation to keep them safe. Do not get complacent. Here are some tips to swim safely for kids:

Supervise your kids around water
Supervise your kids carefully on the edge of the pond is a thing you should do while in the pool area. However, if at any time you have to go to the bathroom or doing other purposes, try to take them with you. If it is not possible, ask for help to your husband or other family members to take care of your kids.

Pay attention to the safety equipment
Typically, a public swimming pool has a safety tool, serving to help or prevent the swimmer had drowned. Well, if your kids have a congenital disease, such as asthma, then make sure you bring their own medications from home. In addition, as a precaution, also save the local emergency number in your cell phone.

Pay attention to pool toys and accessories
In some children's pool there are several games available. Make sure the game is safe for children, and again, do not be negligent in safeguarding your kids during swim time.

Do not take your kids to the choppy beach
If by chance you and your family on vacation to the beach, avoid choosing a beach with high waves and strong currents. Another thing to consider before letting your kids play around the beach, make sure you know where the coast guard post, and read the rules and information found around the coast.

Do not just swim
Do not allow your kids to swim straight after lunch. Get used to wait for at least an hour.
