British scientists warned that everyone pay attention to beverages containing sweeteners. Those who replace sugary drinks with plain mineral water or sugar without calories to maintain their weight and fight obesity. Applies to adults and children.

"We must go back to the simple method of the ancient parents, drink water and encourage your kids have this habit," said Professor Susan Jebb of the University of Oxford.

Professor Tom Sanders of King's College London agrees with these suggestions. "I think, all the people and families have to put water on the dining table, instead of sugary drinks," he said.
