Recent research published in the journal Social Psychological and Personality Science reveals new facts about music while exercising. According to this study, the music that has bigger and stronger bass will make listeners more powerful.

In this study, participants were divided into two groups and given two different tracks during exercise. Listeners tune the bass higher reported more energetic and vibrant than listeners songs with low bass. In fact, when the repetition is done with participants and different songs, studies still show the same results.

Music that has a beat is more advisable to hear while exercising. But you do not need to impose to listen to hip-hop or dubstep while at the gym. The most important thing is to choose a song that makes you excited and want to exercise.
